Wilson sets NCAA passing mark
North Carolina States Russell Wilson has broken the NCAA record for consecutive passes without an interception.
Wilson set the mark late in the third quarter of the Wolfpacks 45-14 rout of Gardner-Webb on Saturday night. His 13-yard pass over the middle to James Washington was his 326th straight without being picked off.
He later extended his pick-free streak to 329 with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Jarvis Williams – his career-high-tying fourth of the game. He finished with career highs of 26 completions, 36 attempts and 345 yards.
Wilson surpassed the mark set by Kentuckys Andre Woodson from 2006-07.
