Cardinals may be without Boldin, Arrington

The Arizona Cardinals could be without two key offensive players for Sundays game against the New England Patriots.

Wide receiver Anquan Boldin has a left shoulder injury and running back J.J. Arrington is suffering from a right knee sprain, keeping both from practicing this week.

The Cardinals (8-6) have two more regular-season games but already have clinched the NFC West Division, meaning they might err on the side of caution and rest both players on Sunday.

Obviously, in this type of situation, where you have a game two weeks away, you want to make sure you got as many of your guys available for that game, Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt said. Thats got to take priority.

Boldin, who earlier this week was named to his third Pro Bowl, has 89 receptions for 1,038 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. If he does not play, Steve Breaston would start in his place.

Arrington has 30 carries for 178 yards and a touchdown. He also has 27 receptions for 237 yards and a touchdown.
