Pitching with a 4-1 lead, Baek had given up one run, two hits and a pair of walks in two innings before his departure.

St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina left Sundays game against the Pittsburgh Pirates in the fourth inning with left quadriceps tightness.

Molina, who also suffered a bruised left thigh on Wednesday, was 0-for-2 before leaving the game and being replaced by Mark Johnson.
