Florida State DT Dunbar leaves hospital.

Florida State announced Thursday that defensive tackle Emmanuel Dunbar will be released from the hospital under his own power.

Dunbar left Wednesdays practice with a back injury and was taken to the hospital.

The 6-5, 290-pound lineman has a history of back problems, including when he underwent surgery on November 9, 2006 to repair two herniated disks.

The school released information on the redshirt junior and said he has motor sensory function and is walking, but it is not known whether he will play in the Seminoles opener on September 6 against Western Carolina.

Over three seasons with Florida State, Dunbar has played in just 13 contests. He recorded three tackles and one sack in three games last season.
